The 2022 Moonshot4Kids Congressional / OSTP Briefing brought together on May 17 of this year Members of Congress, our country’s top pediatric neuro-oncologist physicians, industry leaders, philanthropists, families and caregivers, and childhood cancer patients. A condensed version is to be shared with the Energy and Commerce Committee, House Leadership Team, and the Cancer Moonshot Team, the week of September 12. There was limited public attendance at the original venue, so this event and the subsequent streaming on 9/20 will serve to share this important information with the community, and to encourage them to take advantage of this rare opportunity to help support the passage of the DIPG Awareness Resolution (H. REs. 404), the first of its kind to get floor consideration to alert Congress and the American public to the urgent, unmet medical needs of children with cancer.
